Set Up for Jr Olympics On the Friday afternoon before the Junior Olympics assistance is required of any able bodied volunteers to help set up the field for the events. We usually begin by meeting at the Civic Club at about 1:00 to load trucks with equipment needed for running events, the obstacle course and high jump. On the day before the event we need to line the fields, put up signs, layout out track events, tents, and the obstacle course. With a little help from a lot of people these tasks require 3 or 4 hours of your time which is greatly appreciated by the Civic Club, the residents of Hampstead and most importantly by and for the kids in Hampstead.
