| HAMPSTEAD CIVIC CLUB 2010 FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION *****CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE ***** Registration: Deadline is June 19, 2010 Open to Hampstead Residents only Between the ages of 4 and 15 as of September 1, 2010 When registering, use your child’s age as of September 1, 20010 Late registrations will be assessed a $10 late fee Refunds will not be granted after August 31, 2010, except for medical condition Cost: Ages 4 and 5 - $25 Ages 6 and up - $35 3rd + child receives a $10 discount Games: September 11 - November 6, 2010 Games are Saturday mornings between 9am and noon. Ages 4 and 5 play at the town hall fields; game times are 9am, 10am, 11am Ages 6 and up play at the Depot Road Fields; game times are 9am, 10:30am (Game times are tentative and may change depending upon final number of registrants) Practices: Ages 4 and 5 (U6) practice Saturday mornings for 30 minutes, then play a 30 minute game Ages 6 and 7 (U8) practice one night per week at town hall fields for approximately 1 hour Ages 8-15 (U10–U16) practice one night per week at Depot Road Fields (tentatively Mon or Wed) COACHES CLINIC – Highly recommended for parents who will be coaching FREE for all parents interested in coaching More information to follow –tentatively scheduled for late August If you have questions about the coaching clinic contact Charley Thomas at 329-6507. Equipment Players Need: U6 Shin guards; cleats or sneakers; & #3 soccer ball U8 - U12 Shin guards; cleats; #4 soccer ball U15 Shin guards; cleats; #5 soccer ball # of Players on Field: U6 4 v 4 (no goalie) U8 - U12 6 v 6 (includes a goalie) U15 8 v 8 (includes goalie) Schedule: U6 Schedule begins 9/10 and ends on 11/5. (No games on 9/17) Practices are first 30 minutes of Saturday morning scheduled time. Games are last 30 minutes of Saturday morning scheduled time. U8 - U12; U15 Practice may begin week of 9/5. Practices are 1 hour during the week. If you have a conflict contact other coaches to switch day. Games are four 12 minute quarters on Saturday mornings. Inclement Weather: U6 - U15 The coaches for each team determine whether or not games or practices will be played. In the event of inclement weather, it is the coach's responsibility to contact the opposing coach prior to game time to determine if the game will be played. If not coaches need to contact their players about the cancellation.. End of Season: Return goalie shirts and pinnies in boxes located at the fields. |
